About the position
GjejeMjekun is looking for a Mid-Level React Native Developer to join our product and technology team.
You will help develop the GjejeMjekun mobile application for iOS and Android. Our platform helps people discover healthcare professionals and organizations, explore their profiles, and find relevant contact and location information.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the application using React Native and TypeScript.
- Implement mobile screens from designs and product requirements.
- Integrate the application with GjejeMjekun REST APIs.
- Build search, filtering, professional profiles, maps, and user-account functionality.
- Implement secure authentication and data storage.
- Implement push notifications, deep links, and location functionality.
- Optimize application performance across Android and iOS.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Test, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams.
- Contribute to releases on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional React Native experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Experience with React components, Hooks, and state management.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and authentication flows.
- Experience with React Navigation or Expo Router.
- Ability to deliver features independently.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Strong testing, debugging, and performance-optimization skills.
- Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
- Good Albanian and English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Applications published on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- A GitHub profile, portfolio, or personal React Native projects.
- Experience with Expo, React Query, Zustand, Redux, or Context API.
- Experience with maps, geolocation, deep links, and push notifications.
- Experience with Jest or React Native Testing Library.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and application releases.
- Basic familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, Xcode, or Android Studio.
- Experience applying privacy and data-security practices.
